Focus of this unit includes the works of key Impressionist painters (Renoir, Monet, Degas) and exploration of the colour wheel, primary and secondary colours. The children will paint their own snapshots from a key work of Impressionist art, which work as panels and come together to recreate the whole image.

Focus on the designs and style of designer William Morris. Outcomes include press-printing, monoprinting and block printing. Final outcome is a printed design on fabric, in wallpaper style inspired by William Morris.
